The Hive Youth Hub in Kildare Town is a place for young people to come and chill out and take part in youth work activities and groups. It is there for young people aged 10-24 years of age from the Kildare Town area. The Hive as it is known locally, is unique in there are youth work programmes run there by a variety of agencies including the Hive and all offer something different.
The types of programmes and activities that have taken palce over the past year are music and youth music gigs, youth cafes, youth employment programme, youth ability programme, personal development and transition to secondary school group, young men’s mental health and wellbeing, Social Saturdays group, summer camps, Halloween art and festival.
The Hive is a registered charity number 20082932 and has an independent Board of Management which is made up of a variety of agencies from County Kildare and local people.
